Our mountain spirit
A story of the mountains, a family story
At Collet d’Allevard, the mountains are not just for consumption.
They are shared, passed down, and respected.
Since the resort’s inception in 1955, the Béranger family has been among those who have contributed to its growth. Marcel and Annie have watched Le Collet grow, season after season. They have worked there their entire lives and continue to this day to keep alive that authentic mountain spirit, built on commitment, community, and passion.
Today, this story continues with Evan and Stéphanie, who manage all of the family’s businesses in the heart of the resort, in a natural and confident continuation of the legacy.
Le Chamois d’Or
The main store, a true landmark in Le Collet d’Allevard.
Here you’ll find ski and snowboard rentals, as well as a wide selection of mountain clothing and accessories for men, women, and children, plus ski, snow, hiking, and winter boots. Here, advice is precise, personalized, and always tailored to your skill level and the conditions.
Les Arolles – Le Tétras Lyre
Just a few meters away, Les Arolles also offers equipment rentals in a friendly atmosphere.
On the ground floor, Le Tétras Lyre welcomes skiers and hikers to an authentic creperie-snack bar, serving real buckwheat crepes—perfect for a tasty break between runs.
L’Eterlou
Between the two shops, L’Eterlou showcases local souvenirs and products: regional specialties, terrines, génépi, and typical mountain items. A simple and genuine place to take home a piece of Collet.
Choosing the Béranger family’s shops isn’t just about renting ski gear at Collet d’Allevard.
It means trusting men and women who know the mountains because they’ve lived there all their lives.
It means being welcomed, advised, and guided.
And often, this is where the best days of skiing begin… and the memories that go with them.
Three generations of passion
Since the early days of Collet d'Allevard, the Béranger family has been welcoming visitors to the resort. Three generations have carried on the same tradition: welcoming guests, offering advice, and sharing their love of the mountains.
To this day, this family tradition continues every day in our stores.

We live and breathe the mountains
We don't discover the mountains in catalogs.
We explore them year-round.
Hiking, skiing, trail running, snowshoeing, family outings: our hands-on experience informs every piece of advice we give in-store.
Summer and winter
Le Collet d'Allevard is a great place to visit year-round.
In winter, enjoy skiing and the vast snow-covered landscapes. In summer, enjoy hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and outdoor activities.
We’re here to support you all year round with the right gear and advice.
In the heart of the resort
For over 60 years, we have been an integral part of life in Le Collet.
Shop owners, lodging providers, restaurant owners, guides, organizations, and residents: together, we share the same desire to help visitors discover the mountains in the best possible conditions.
Friends of Intersport
Over the years, some guests have become regulars. Then friends.
Families have been coming back for generations; children have become parents themselves, and memories are passed down just like a love for the mountains.
That, too, is the spirit of Le Collet.
